Andrea Taylor, LCSW, CCATP, ADHD-CCSP
20+ years of clinical experience. Three advanced certifications. A practice built on the belief that you are more resilient than you know.
Certifications & Licensure
I built this practice because I've seen firsthand how much the right support can change a life.
Two decades in clinical social work have taught me that the people who come through my door aren't broken — they're often working harder than anyone realizes, with a brain or a life situation that nobody has ever properly explained to them.
My path to specializing in ADHD wasn't accidental. Over and over, I saw clients who had been misdiagnosed, dismissed, or handed generic coping strategies that didn't account for how their brains actually process the world. That drove me to pursue the ADHD-CCSP — one of the most advanced clinical credentials available for ADHD specialists — to make sure my work was grounded in the most current, specific understanding of ADHD in adults.
I also hold the CCATP credential for anxiety treatment, because ADHD and anxiety frequently travel together. Understanding both, and how they interact, is something I've built my practice around.
When I'm not working, you'll find me somewhere in the Tampa Bay area — a community I'm deeply proud to call home and serve.

Evidence-based. Collaborative. Tailored to you.
There is no single "right" way to do therapy. The most effective approach is the one that fits you — your history, your brain, your goals.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Evidence-based approach to identifying and changing thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and ADHD-related challenges.
Collaborative & Client-Led
You're the expert on your life. My role is to bring clinical insight, not to impose a predetermined path. We build your treatment direction together.
Psychoeducation
Understanding how your brain works — especially for ADHD and anxiety — is itself therapeutic. I teach the neuroscience in plain language.
Mindfulness-Based
Integrating present-moment awareness techniques that help regulate the nervous system and create space between stimulus and response.
Solution-Focused
While we explore the past when it's helpful, the orientation is always toward where you want to be — building on your existing strengths.
Systems & Relational
Especially in couples work, understanding the relational system — the dynamic between two people — is as important as the individuals within it.
