  • Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to comply with legal processes; or when necessary to protect the safety of you or others.
  • Business successors: In the event of a practice sale, merger, or transition, your information may be transferred to a successor provider, who will be bound by this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. SMS & Text Messaging Policy

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

How We Use SMS

With your explicit consent, A Resilient Tomorrow may send text messages (SMS) to the mobile number you provide, for purposes including:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Scheduling changes or cancellation notices
  • Responses to questions you initiate via text
  • Administrative communications about your care

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. A Resilient Tomorrow does not charge for SMS messages sent from our practice.

6. HIPAA & Mental Health Privacy

As a licensed therapy practice, A Resilient Tomorrow is a HIPAA-covered entity. All protected health information (PHI) — including clinical records, session notes, diagnoses, treatment plans, and billing information — is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996.

You have specific rights under HIPAA regarding your protected health information. These rights are described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP), which you receive at the start of treatment. Key rights include:
