What is an ADHD-CCSP — and why does it matter for your care?

The ADHD Certified Specialist Practitioner (ADHD-CCSP) credential represents advanced, specialized training in ADHD that goes far beyond what a general therapist receives. It requires post-graduate coursework, supervised hours specifically in ADHD, and demonstrated competency in evidence-based ADHD interventions.

Most therapists who say they "treat ADHD" have completed a weekend workshop — or nothing formal at all. The ADHD-CCSP means I've invested in deep, rigorous clinical training so that the support I offer you is grounded in what actually works.

ADHD therapy tailored to your life

ADHD looks different in every person. I specialize in the presentations that are most often missed or misunderstood.

Adults with Late Diagnoses

You made it this far without a diagnosis — but now you have one, and you're figuring out what it means. Therapy helps you reframe your history and build a new toolkit.

Women with ADHD

ADHD in women is frequently missed or misdiagnosed as anxiety or depression. If you've always felt like you were "trying too hard just to keep up," this is worth exploring.

ADHD + Anxiety

ADHD and anxiety co-occur in a majority of cases. I specialize in treating both together — because treating only one rarely resolves either.

ADHD in Relationships

ADHD affects couples in specific ways that are completely manageable with the right support — whether you come in individually or as a couple.

Self-Suspected ADHD

You don't need a formal diagnosis to start therapy. If ADHD feels like it fits your experience, that's worth exploring together.

Newly Diagnosed

A fresh diagnosis can feel like relief, grief, or both. Therapy provides space to process and start building an approach that works for your brain.

ADHD therapy — your questions answered

No. A formal ADHD diagnosis is not required to start therapy. Many adults come to me with self-suspected ADHD, a recent diagnosis, or a longstanding diagnosis but no formal support. Therapy can begin wherever you are in that process.
I'm a therapist, not a prescriber — so medication management is outside my scope. However, I work collaboratively with psychiatrists and prescribers, and can coordinate care if you're already working with someone or looking for a referral.
Yes — all sessions are available via telehealth for Florida residents. Research supports telehealth as equally effective to in-person therapy for ADHD, and many clients find the flexibility especially helpful given ADHD's impact on scheduling and commuting.
